These boots are like walking on clouds!! I spend over 9hrs a day in my boots and a lot of those hours are walking. Best boots I have ever owned. I love the ease of online shopping and no shipping costs over a certain amount. They were delivered in less than a week pkgd. perfectly!!

Uncomfortable, heals too wide, instep too tight

I got these boots last summer but didn't start wearing them til the fall - and they've been great! Decently water-resistant, supportive, and not overly tight. They did take a few weeks/months to break in, and something about the fit of the inner sole means I can't really wear ankle socks with them, as they'll slowly ride down and pull the socks off my feet - however, they held up great during a 2.5 week trip to Japan, and they looked super cute to boot. The leather is holding up well and wearing beautifully. I'm usually an 8.5 or 9 in boots, so I tried both the 8.5 Wide and the 9 Regular, and ended up going with the 8.5W. If I'd gone with the regular 8.5 Regular, it's possible my socks wouldn't slip down quite so much, as my heel is relatively narrow, but I appreciate the extra breathing room for my instep, and being able to wear chunkier winter socks with them without any issues.
Oh - and I did end up manually punching a couple of extra holes in the strap, so I could tighten them more, and that did help with the heel fit/slippage.

Love them and they fit like all my other Cobb Hill shoes.

These are lovely boots. Very comfortable and quite stylish. I usually wear 8M but they were a little snug across the instep. I returned them for 8W. The zipper makes for easy on-easy off. And the zipper has a gusset, which I didn't expect. I'm very pleased with them.
